About The Book
This book is meant to encourage every believer who is called to serve God in these end times and to help him keep his heart and mind trained on the true prize--Jesus Christ.
In Matthew 13:45-46, Jesus says, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.” So it is with the true disciple of Christ, who follows Him, not with the hope of gaining earthly riches, but with the hope of living with Christ eternally in the kingdom of heaven.
What Readers Say About Running The Good Race
This book is written out of his (Pastor Bwambale Joachim’s) personal experience following the LORD and serving Him, from the day he accepted Jesus into his life until now. It’s one thing commenting about Biblical principles in theory; it’s another doing it out of practice and experience. As a disciple, he heard God’s call, obeyed, and has endured much suffering and persecution. His faith has been tested; he has often been discouraged and doubtful to the point of giving up. Nevertheless, he is resilient and courageous enough to press on towards God’s call–so much fruit is born. His journey is no different from any other follower and servant of Christ; nonetheless, it’s unique and captivating. This will be, no doubt, an encouraging and inspiring read. — Pastor Zeddie Muzungu, Calvary Chapel Kampala
